We are delighted to announce that Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners lead by Mr. Andre Rahadian has successfully assisted Garuda Indonesia in an aircraft leasing transaction with AWAS Aviation Services, Inc., one of the global leader commercial aircraft leasing companies, from the financing process until the delivery of the Boeing 737-800 Next Generation series aircraft, which is the 123rd Boeing 737 series aircraft delivered to Garuda Indonesia.

For years, HP&P has served as Garuda Indonesia’s legal counsel in the negotiation and delivery process for aircraft purchase and lease transactions for Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and A330 series, with leading aircraft manufacturers such as The Boeing Company and Airbus S.A.S. and with leading commercial aircraft leasing companies such as AWAS Aviation Services, Inc., International Lease Finance Corporation, GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services), and CIT Aerospace International.

At present, Garuda Indonesia is operating 67 (sixty seven) Boeing 737 series aircraft consisting of 48 (forty eight) B-737-800NG series and 19 (nineteen) B-737-300/400/500 series, most of which transactions were assisted by Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners.
